This website is focused on my research and projects mostly focused on the fiber and culinary arts and historic interpretations of the middle ages and the early modern time periods in Europe.
My previous website went down in a blaze and I pretty much lost all the content so I’m starting over. I’ll be working over the next few weeks to update with some of my past research and projects as well as documenting future ones.
My primary focus of research and projects I enjoy involves but is not limited to:
- Early modern laundry and stain removal techniques
- Interpretations of recipes, both culinary and other
- Cooking & Baking
- Spinning
- Weaving
- Braiding
- Knitting
- Hand sewing
- Embroidery
I tend to sometimes go down some rabbit holes from time to time and sometimes feel like a squirrel in a nut factory. I’ll try not to get too random on here but I can’t promise it won’t ever happen. 😊
My “real-life” job is as an office manager for a general contracting company so my research and projects is what I do for fun. I also am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism and do some medieval interpretation there as well.
So, keep watching this space for older and newer things as I whip this website into shape! Thank you!
